VALCALEPIO
MOSCATO PASSITO D.O.C.

The jewel in the crown of Bergamo wine-making, Valcalepio Moscato Passito is made with Moscato di Scanzo grapes grown in the municipality of Torre de’ Roveri, and dried on rush mats in dry, airy lofts.

Vinification, which takes place about two months after the harvest, and the slow fermentation at a low temperature during the winter, bring out all the typical primary aromas with typical overtones of sage and rose. The high alcohol content balanced by the sugar residue make this a really interesting, sincere and enjoyable wine, ideal for serving at the end of a meal instead of liqueurs.
